Our Promise
Every one of our centres make a promise to provide these six benefits to our tamariki and whānau.
Learning Skills
for Life
We help children learn life skills like: listening, talking, working with others, taking responsibility for themselves and their belongings, problem solving, sharing and taking turns, concentrating, using their imagination and being creative, caring for others, and caring for the environment.
Learning books and Storypark
We create a book for each child filled with photos, stories and memories all about their learning. We also offer Storypark which is a free on-line way of seeing photos, videos and stories of your child throughout the day. You get to take these books home with you when your child finishes their time with us.
Health and
Wellness
We work with the Heart Foundation to promote a love for healthy eating and exercise. We grow our own vegetables to cook, we use healthy recipes and exercise regularly. Children also brush their teeth each day and we have regular visits for hearing and vision tests.
Trips
We take you and your child on trips throughout the year to places like Kelly Tarltons, Auckland Zoo, Butterfly Creek, Clip and Climb, the theatre. We also explore our local community by visiting places like the library, shops and parks.
School Readiness
Before children start school we support them to have a love of learning, develop confidence in themselves and their identity, emotional well-being, opportunities to practise writing and develop a love of books, skills to make friends, early maths and science skills.
We also help with your child's transition to school by helping you fill out enrolment forms, taking your child on school visits, and preparing a special graduation ceremony.
Celebrations
We celebrate each child’s culture by valuing who they are and where they come from. We also have many celebrations together throughout the year for graduations, festivals, Pacifica language weeks, Easter, Mother’s day, Matariki, Father’s Day, and Christmas.
