+ How do I enrol my child?

You can send us an enquiry using our contact form and then come in and pick up an enrolment pack to fill in. Nice and easy! Alternately, call us on 09 268 8040 to get started.

+ What paperwork do I need to start my child?

You will need a birth certificate or passport. An immunisation record would also be helpful. We will give you an enrolment pack that you can either take away to fill in or we can help you fill it in at the centre.

+ What should I bring on my child's first day?

A bag with 2 spare changes of clothing, Spare nappies if your child wears them. You are free to stick around as long as you need.

+ How will you help me to settle my child at the centre?

We know that each child is different and some can take longer than others to settle in. We encourage you and your child to come and visit our centres before they start. This gives us a chance to get to know you and your child and will help us settle your child in.

+ What food do you provide?

  • Manurewa: we provide a healthy breakfast, morning tea and lunch.
  • Weymouth: we provide a healthy morning tea and lunch
  • Waimahia: we provide a healthy morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • All centres have cooking experiences throughout the week.

+ What activities do you have available?

The list is endless but some fun things we do are rippa rugby, caring for our centre pets, carpentry, vegetable gardening, learning about different cultures and places in the world, cooking, science experiments, maths games, books, using iPads, writing, building and creating.

+ Are parents able to come in anytime?

Of course they are! You are welcome to come in any time and spend as much or as little as you like and you can join in on the fun. Our doors are always open to parents and whānau.

+ What values and principles will my child learn at your centres?

Aroha (love), Manaakitanga (kindness and care), respect, generosity, empathy, thankfulness, perseverance, and responsibility.

+ What if my child has special dietary, cultural and/or medical requirements?

When you first enrol please let us know about any special requirements. We have processes in place to make sure each child’s special requirements are followed.

+ How do we deal with challenging behaviour?

We have different ways to deal with challenging behaviour that are age appropriate. Our teachers are fair, calm and help support children to cope with their emotions.

+ What if my child has special needs?

We welcome children with special needs and their families. Our teachers are trained to support children with special needs. We also work together with a number of outside agencies to support families.

+ Will you help my child with toilet learning?

Yes! We help you and your child through all the stages of toilet learning, from changing nappies to using the toilet on their own.
